Get The Secret Tips From Weight Loss Coach for Women

One of the most frequent questions I hear as a weight loss coach for women is, “How can I lose weight and keep it off for good?”

I completely understand the frustration of yo-yo dieting and the endless cycle of losing and regaining weight. My journey as a weight loss coach for women began with my own struggles during college. Back then, my diet was packed with fast food and oversized portions, creating an unhealthy relationship with food and a never-ending battle with dieting.

When I decided to specialize in helping people overcome emotional eating and yo-yo dieting, it wasn’t just a professional decision—it was personal. Early on in my practice, I realized that focusing solely on calorie counting or balancing macronutrients like protein, fats, and carbs wasn’t enough to create lasting weight loss for my clients.

That’s when I dove deep into the principles of mindful eating, habit transformation, and mindset shifts. These areas, I discovered, held the key to meaningful, lasting changes—not just on the scale, but in every area of life.

What I’ve learned as a weight loss coach for women is simple but profound: when you commit to doing the inside work, the outside results—including weight loss—fall into place. This is the work most people skip because they don’t realize it’s the missing piece of the puzzle. They keep trying the same quick fixes, only to find themselves back where they started.

About six months ago, my client Jessica decided it was time to take a different approach.
Like many others, her initial thought was, “What if this doesn’t work for me?”

Jessica’s results were transformative. Over six months, she lost 20 pounds, rediscovered her love for tennis and weight lifting, and let go of the dieter’s mindset. But as she’ll tell you, her success wasn’t just about the weight she lost—it was about the life she gained.

Here’s what Jessica had to say about her journey:

“This work empowered me in all facets of life—beyond just food—as the habits of mindfulness extended to fitness, work, and parenting.

When I found Lisa, I hoped to lose weight, but I didn’t expect to completely change my relationship with eating. Despite knowing a lot about nutrition and fitness, I struggled to control my intake and felt stuck with this heavy issue in my life. Honestly, I was skeptical that anyone, even a weight loss coach for women, could truly help me.

I’m happy to say I was wrong. Lisa’s guidance exceeded my expectations. We spent about 95% of our time focusing on psychology and mindset, with just 5% on nutrition. That’s where I needed the most help.

Yes, I lost 20 pounds in six months (starting at 150 pounds, while also building muscle through workouts), but that’s not the headline. The real transformation was understanding and overcoming my self-limiting beliefs and breaking free from the emotionally driven ways I used food.

Holiday favorites like potato latkes, figgy pudding, and prime rib are hard to resist, but portion control is your secret weapon. Swap your dinner plate for a salad plate and load up on veggies first. If you want seconds, make it just a small spoonful of your favorite dish. And please—decline the leftover pie or cookies unless they’re healthy options.

I used food for everything—stress relief, comfort, entertainment, even as a form of self-care. After years of dieting, my mindset was stuck in an exhausting all-or-nothing cycle. The mental energy spent on food—planning, justifying, counting, and feeling shame after overeating—was overwhelming.

Today, food no longer occupies that mental space. I eat, and I move on with my day. I’ve become one of those people I used to envy—someone who naturally makes healthy choices and knows when to stop eating without overindulging.

This transformation seemed impossible before. I believed something was fundamentally wrong with me, but I was wrong about that, too.

Lisa is the reason I’ve been able to change. She was patient, insightful, and always prepared, with thoughtful notes from our previous sessions. It felt like working with a trusted friend who genuinely wanted me to succeed. Each session left me feeling refocused and centered.

Now that our weekly sessions have ended, I’ve decided to continue with monthly check-ins because having Lisa as a weight loss coach for women is invaluable.”

Reading Jessica’s words reminds me why I do what I do. Helping women like her break free from the cycle of yo-yo dieting and transform their lives is my mission as a weight loss coach for women.
