How to Stop Emotional Eating if Eating Makes You Feel Better

How to Stop Emotional Eating if Eating Makes You Feel Better

how to stop emotional eating

It might seem like you’ll never be able to stop emotional eating when you feel like food is the only thing that will make you feel better.

“When I’m in a bad mood eating makes me feel better.”

Has this thought ever run through your head?

This was what Wilma used to think to herself about pizza when she wasn’t starving herself to lose weight.

“The pizza makes me feel better.”

But the truth is, it never made her feel better. This was a false narrative in her head.

Not only did this false narrative keep her overweight, it made her feel stuffed physically, upset with herself mentally and emotionally, it left her with an overwhelming sense of shame because intellectually, she knew better.

If you can relate to this, watch the coaching I gave Wilma in my new video, How to Stop Emotional Eating, so that you can learn how to stop emotional eating and end this self-sabotaging thought pattern.

The good news is there is a happy ending to Wilma’s story.

She lost 50lbs and now she feels so much better, she looks so much better and she has her confidence back which is showing up in her everyday life, especially at work

Wilma did this through my group coaching program, What Are You Really Hungry For, where she learned my signature Mindshift Method.

This step by step method showed her how to change her false narrative, how to stop emotional eating, STOP her self-sabotage, get rid of her dieters mentality so that she can keep those 50lbs off forever.

Here’s why Wilma decided it was time to get professional support and work with a coach:

  • She knew had not been able to lose weight on her own no matter how many times and how many years she tried
  • She knew she didn’t need to go on another diet
  • She knew that she had a terrible relationship with food and she took it out on herself and her body
  • She knew in her heart of hearts that the transformation she wanted required support and the mental tools to create real change and lasting weight loss.

The harsh truth is, if you never learn how to re-program your mind to break the sabotaging cycle of starving yourself or stuffing yourself, you will always find yourself losing weight only to end up gaining it back again.

If you want to learn how to finally break this cycle, make sure to watch this video, and then book your free call with me at www.speaktolisa.com. Let’s have a conversation to see if What Are You Really Hungry For is right for you.
